EvoCube: Epoch Victorious by kratorspore
A game about out-evolving your competition and navigating weird tron-like cubist landscapes to cheesy dance music! It's survival of the fittest to beat all the epochs. (i.e very loose theme interpretation :) )
Made with Unity4. OSX tested, the others I've left it up to faith that Unity did the right thing on export. Let me know if they don't work.
Instructions:
Move your cube onto the white exit pad to advance to the next epoch.
Esc = backs out
'r' = retry current level (if you get stuck)
wsad or arrow keys = move the cube around.

Regarding level 3. You can get passed all enemy blocks on that level without taking/destroying them. The trick is timing and observing how the enemy blocks move. They always pause for one turn when they meet a wall before moving in a different direction. You can move into a wall to skip a turn while waiting for the right moment to move passed an enemy block. Thats the trick to getting passed the orange block in the corridor of this level.
Thanks for the comments guys!
Nice to see Unity4 exports properly to Linux!
And then it is maybe the shaders, since I have only software GLSL support. I will try this later on pc...
Overall, it's a great game and a fairly innovative mechanic. I was impressed with the level design; although you don't make it easy ;).
