TRANS by NicoJaujou

Hello,
This is my first entry to a Ludum Dare and, if it's a very modest contribution, I am proud to present my project: Trans.
Trans is a very short incursion in interactive narration with a (very light) gameplay. The story is quite fuzzy, something about transgender, transsexuality and transhumanism. Something about the evolution that we, as a species, are performing every day.

TO PLAY: Use the arrows to translate the text that is moving in order to collide with other texts.

To do this project I use, as a beginner, Unity 3D and Garage Band.

Thank you for playing :)

I like the subject matter. It can be difficult to trigger certain words--I cannot trigger the final word "transhuman"

Cool ! Le sujet et la manière de le traiter sont vraiment intéressants, ça aurait mérité une durée de vie un peu plus longue et quelques effets visuels en plus =) (par contre la police de caractère est pas chez moi, j'ai tous les textes en arial...)

I like how I felt I had some control on the dialogue (although I have none, right?), it's very well done, I think. But I'm stuck at “a transhuman”… is it meant to be this way?

Sorry, actually the player *has* control over the text, nice!

Thank you guys.
Yes you cannot trigger the final word transhuman... I think it was nice this way but in term of feedback its a very bad (and tired) choice. Sorry about that.

That's a weird gameplay, but a fun way to tell a story (reminds me of another game telling a story during a song ?), Bravo for your first entry, see you next LD :)

Finally got to try it! Not always easy to manipulate, but very nice idea. With more time to add choices you could turn it into something like "Today I die".

Thank you very much for your support. I don't know if I deserve it, but I take it. Next LD, I will do my best and it will be better !
