The Brewer by Maikeroppi

[raw]
made by Maikeroppi for LD24 (COMPO)
A pretty simple game. My idea was to have the evolution of a brewer starting in homebrew on up to running a successful microbrewery or gastropub. However, as the deadline loomed, it devolved into this more serving-focused game.

On the plus side, it should waste a few minutes of your life at most.

Done using Flashdevelop, Flashpunk (not included in source), Graphics Gale Free Edition, and SFXR. Game is hosted on Kongregate, source on GitHub.

Click taps to fill beers. You can fill more than one beer at once. Press M to mute the sounds FOREVER (or until you reload).

Don't see evolution in this game.

Not the worst game ever. It doesn't show evolution, but it would make a decent time waster if I was really bored.

Yeah. Can't seem to see any relation to the theme, but not a bad game at all. Kinda reminded me of the restaurant games I used to play years ago.

Yeah, I have to agree it drifted well away from the theme as I was making it. Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback!

That was surprisingly fun. One thing to note is that I could fill up a bunch of each type of beer, and then they would be waiting there for me to serve. I don't think you meant for this to be a part of the game, but it made it kind of fun to be able to prep in the time between customers.

I am a master brewer.!! Game was kinda engrossing, it's very addictive in its simplicity. The mechanics reminded a little of old LCD games which were fun and so was this. I didn't see much of the theme relevance and the game was short, but still it was a fun.
