Gan Fall: the totally true story of the origin of man by stett
In the beginning, God had two sons.
He gave each of them a simple organism, and they were commanded to guide the development of its race.
In order to help them along, each of God's sons can inhabit one of their creatures at a time, controlling it directly. An important mechanic that I didn't have time to implement was leadership - when you are "possessing" one of your creatures, the nearby ones would've followed your lead. As it is, when they are not possessed, they just have a simple AI that wanders, eats, and fights.
Also, I didn't really have time to balance the races, which would've made it challenging but possible to beat. The way it is right now, your race mitoses faster, so the player almost always wins without any effort on their part...
Some other important stuff that I didn't have time to finish:
- You can't actually ever evolve... that's kind of important, but I didn't have time to draw all the sprites and stuff... I was planning on having about four stages of evolution before a race gets to its final state.
- Originally, there were three races, but again, no time. I guess that's not as big of a deal.
ps: IF YOU ARE POSSESSING A CREATURE, R-CLICK TO LEAVE IT << I don't think I made it clear enough in the in-game instructions.
pps: The sound fx tend to freak out at the very end, so be forewarned.

You can improve sounds, add music to create atmosphere and slow down a little bit the gameplay, i couldnt feel i was in control of my race destiny at all!, even see the bad brother :O
It would be fine with more interactions and less "life game"...
This is a good thing.
Allow me to doff my cap at you, good sir!
