Darwinian Theory by bobbobowitz

Not having much time, we decided to try something new and make a rhythm game!

You play as Charles Darwin, confronted with the problem of natural selection. Evidently, Darwin decided to artificially select all the species himself. Use this simple conveyor belt system to sort the oncoming animals into accepts and rejects! Make sure you only reject the weird gray ones.

Move Charles Darwin using the arrow keys, hit the spacebar to make him pop animals off the conveyor belt.

Note: may not be historically accurate

Hope you have a good time playing our game!

Cheers,
bobbobowitz and pixelcake

That was a larf! And addicting. This is one of those things that propels you to keep playing even when you've had enough because "I just want to beat my last score". The graphics, while not the greatest I've seen, did do a very good job and sticking to one theme and style while working with the mood. And the music was absolutely fantastic; I love it so much that I'm going to put it on my iPod. However, the gameplay was really repetitive with little variation. With a few more features and tweaks I would definitely see myself playing this on a mobile device!

Although the art isn't very good, the game turned out to be really really fun!

I have a few notes:
-I think the fact that the animals become white when they get really close is really confusing, especially when you get deeper in and are super focused.
-It's fun, but a bit hard at the moment. I think maybe having it so you have 3 lives would be better.
-I couldn't tell if it had any sort of progression, but something like that would nice!

Overall, really nice and unique game!

Great music, nice graphic style. Game somewhat hard. Changing lanes needs to be faster to be able to react, or just start with the lanes coming slower and make them fast as time progresses.
Had fun.

This was so much fun! I actually enjoyed the art a lot. The music was fun. Might I recommend that it starts in a windowed mode?

Was actually fun! (HOW?!?!?!?!?)
Amazingly difficult, suggesting replacing the controls with numbers for hot-keys?
