I believe there are only three in total. I find the punches to be useless as it doesn't do any damage to your enemies. Although, I do see the health-bar drop at some cases. I take it that if your animal isn't adapted to the level they lose health, right? I was using python for the first time, and I think my inexperience killed it for me. Still was a great learning experience though!\r\n\r\nI wrote my own engine during the comp on top of pygame.\r\n\r\ndirty paste from the readme:\r\n\r\ngoal\r\n------------------\r\nthe enviroment changes every 45 seconds. \r\nDuring that time it's your goal to collect the dna strings, which transform you into the strongest adapted creature for the area. \r\n\r\nswitching enviroments will apply damage if you did not succeed to become the fittest. \r\n\r\n! THIS GAME IS 2 PLAYER ONLY !\r\n\r\ncontrols\r\n-----------------\r\n\r\nplayer1 : WSAD to walk, jump\r\nX to punch\r\n\r\nplayer2 : ARROW KEYS to walk, jump\r\nSPACEBAR to punch\r\n\r\n\r\ncharacters\r\n--------------------\r\n\r\nbird: \r\nstrength: \r\n- fly [unlimted double jump]\r\n\r\nweakness: \r\n- weak punch\r\n- flying is relatively slow\r\n\r\ndinosaur: \r\nstrength: \r\n- fast\r\n- medium punch\r\n- all arounder\r\n\r\nmammoth: \r\nstrength: \r\n- strong punch\r\n- great grip on ice\r\n\r\nweakness: \r\n- slow\r\n- low jump\r\n\r\nthe game isn't done and therefore misses alot of functionality\r\n\r\nknown bugs\r\n--------------\r\ngame crashes when a player dies\r\nlevel restarts instead of switching to a different level sometimes\r\nspawn of items sometimes gets messsed up<\/p>","title":"survival of the fittest"}
