Haha. A great little puzzler. At first, when I didn't understand the rules, I managed to block off the leftmost column with just the smallest organism, leaving me with just a 3x4 grid. I struggled ahead, and won. Loved the ending screen!

Great entry! Felt very retro because of the graphics. I also liked the puzzle a lot.

Love the Game Boy graphics! At first I thought the mechanics was like Triple Town, but they are actually fully original - very interesting concept.

Really nice mechanics - reminded me of Triple Town (in a good way). I think it could have worked better with a different theme - the "grass, bush, tree, hut" progression of Triple Town worked better then the "one circle, two circle, three circle" of this game. Could be worth expanding on.

I applaud your genius, it takes a special sort of mind that can put evolution in a grid based puzzle game. You stayed true to the theme while taking your game in a completely different direction than most participants. Entries like this is why I love Ludum Dare.

Wow, very well polished game, with a great graphical style! I felt I was back at the Gameboy era! The gameplay itself was pretty neat too, although a bit on the easy side.

On a side note, I would double the FPS on your timelapse. I find that 3-5 minutes is an optimal time for those.

Thanks for the game!
