Eden by BumpkinRich
Eden is a block pusher, digger, co-op puzzler. With a evolution vs Intelligent Design story.
Controls:
Arrow keys to move
Space to swap characters (when they're introduced)
Escape to invoke wrath (restart the level)
[Cheat if you get stuck - hold down 'GOD' to skip]
This was my first Ludum Dare and what an experience. I'm a little stressed and dazed as I write this but I think I've made one of my best pieces this weekend.
I had an annoying bug where you would fall through the floor randomly which took a big swathe of my time and cost some content and I would liked to have added more levels. The best mechanic is added on the final level and I wanted to explore that some more so I'll find some time to finish this off.
That said it feels complete as it is. Small and to the point.
Coded and built in Unity 3.5 and Mono Develop. Art with Illustrator, Paint.NET and a dash of Substance. Music made with Garage Band.
Thanks to my family for being soooo supportive this weekend. It's been a long slog and I thank you x.
Anyone wanted to get hold of me with questions and such can find me at @bumpkinRich or www.bumpkinbrothers.com

I don't really want to explain the connection to the theme. Think it's fun to let people find out.
The only suggestion I have is, rather to put the camera at a perfect 45掳 angle, setting it to ~50/60 would make the controls way more intuitive, I think. It's just to help the brain figure out when is the front and where are the sides!
I really liked this. Please, continue to make it into something further.
I really liked the puzzles, they were well designed and made me think.
The best thing though is the sound-slider in the menu. It's just /so useful/. No irritations about volume. No reaching to the speakers. Nicely done!
The cubeness reminded me a lot of Edge, have you played it? Nice job with the puzzles, especially in such a short time!
@Zed - I'll be doing some more work on it soon.
@Yumdub - I wish it was 10 levels. Only managed 9 :( More soon.
@azurenimbus - yep, played Edge for the first time the day before the compo.
I think a 2-block fall could have been OK not to kill the player.
Great job.
