Dracolution by Tsurara

[raw]
made by Tsurara for LD24 (COMPO)
A small adventure game. You start as a young dragon. But you will grow everytime you beat a level.
Also, you can choose a new color for your dragon everytime you grow.
The colors don't have any effects on the gameplay yet. There was no time left for that. :(
There are two small boss levels. An evil wizard (screenshot) and a knight.

Have fun playing!

Controls:
- point and click to move.
- SPACE to fire towards your mouse cursor.

I liked it. It's hard, but the combat was interesting enough that I didn't mind dying and retrying 5 or 6 times. Some audio would have probably helped a bit, even if it was just for firing and getting hurt.

Nice little game, I like how the dragon changes after level ups. I would have preferred wasd/arrows to move + mouse to shoot better as a control scheme though.

Had more fun playing this than I thought I would from seeing the graphics and the tiny window. The idea to use mouse for controlling both the movement and the firing direction was interesting, as usually in this type of game arrows are used for movement. In a way it's actually 3D game as the projectiles have height!

Cool little game with good use of the theme. Combat was hard but fun to try and figure out how to best go about killing the knights.

The graphics are simple, but it's not a problem.
The gameplay is interesting because the enemies are varied, but a bit slow sometimes.
So, it's simple but I had some fun !

Great entry!

A faster pace would be slightly better, I think. That may require switching to WSAD/Arrows for movement.

It plays very nicely, controls and fighting are well done. It's a bit low on content, though.

I liked the 'evolving' aka upgrading part of the game. The gameplay could've been better, but it was good enough as it was. Yet I missed some sound effects/music, now it all seemed kinda blank and empty. Good job anyways!

Nice game ! If you have time to improve it, it would be nice if ennemies dropped some healing or powerups :)

I like your game. the control and enemies make everybattle really fun. I regret you could not add the color effect on dragons.

I like the concept. The mouse controls were very frustrating, especially when you're expected to avoid projectiles

Very fun. I could see a polished version of this being very addictive. Love the graphics, too!

Cool game. I like the minimalist graphic. Too bad dragon transformations don't give any abilities or something.

I liked it but I suck so much at this kind of games. Would be nice to have some healing.
