The game continues until you die.

The jumping and shooting all just felt really good. I also liked the looks of the slimes when they evolved. The game was rewarding to play :)

Cool stuff. Liked the evolving enemies, reminds me of my entry:P Gameplay was tight and the power-ups felt good. Well done.

Pretty solid. It had a good pace, where you always felt like there was something you could be doing. It started to ramp up a little too fast for me, where I went from being able to kill everything that came to suddenly being surrounded and barely doing damage, but it was fun.

Kick-ass music!

The controls were good and the powerups kept the gameplay interesting. Great work!

The only thing I think could be improved is the enemy AI. They should have some sort of pathfinding, instead of just waiting above you when you're under a tile.

Leebo, yes, it's very unbalanced. As usual I didn't get to balancing it until too late when I was too tired. :P
The post compo version is better though if you want to play after you have rated.

Very good music. Gameplay is better in the post-compo version, but the original is still quite playable, up to the point when there's just too much monsters spawning, when it's getting too hard. :)

Quite fun to play :) The style was nice, and you used the theme very well. It slowed down to the point of being unplayable after a while - there were maybe 30 enemies around or so - and the screen flickered a lot, but part of that might be that Flash on Linux (which I'm running) isn't entirely reliable.

gets super difficult really fast, gun felt like it was hurling minor insults at them or something, took a lot of shots to take anything down. would have been cool if the upgrades stacked. The winged guys once they evolve move too fast that they often clip through platforms also.

Nice idea! The level-design could use tightening though. This is perfect for a small arena, a sprawling level is rather not.

Thanks for the comments. Glad you like the music. I think it gets really annoying after a while but I guess you are not going to play the game that long anyways.

Seems like the game slows down to a halt after a while, I'm not sure why but I might try to fix it later. Let's just say you win when it crashes. :P

Nice game! My high score is 15. I think it got a little too hard too fast, but that was ok. All the evolutions of your gun and the enemies were pretty meaningful. And nice music.
