That was definitely AWESOME. And I really don't write in all caps often!

This game was incredibly well made and I love how it forces you to think outside the box. I just wish it made more use of the last two modes.

Awesome!
I had an idea along these lines, but you pulled it off WAY better. Great work!

I really love the feel of the game and I think you did some great stuff. It's awesome... but how do I get out of the first area?

Great atmosphere and cool mechanics, even though I didn't find the way out.

Hi everyone! thanks for the comments. I don't want to spoil the game giving away the solution, because this is "mainly" a puzzle game. But what i can tell you is that the game only has one level, and the main objective is to find the way out. As a hint, you need to find the three ghosts...
Maybe we will prepare a walkthrough and post it :)

At first I was like, "Oh this is a simple game it's probably boring"
And then I was like "Oh this isn't so simple"
And then I was like "Wow this concept is brilliant"
GJ!

That was great. the pixel art was fantastic, and I loved the rogue and text adventure references. However, it was very frustrating that very few commands were recognized in the text adventure mode. I didn't manage to escape, I spoke to the first two ghosts but couldn't work out how to say the password or get to the third ghost.

Great game! The password bit was difficult because thought the only valid commands were the ones on the help screen. Also, first time I got through the door it crashed with this error:

Monkey Runtime Error : TypeError: Error #1009

Again, awesome game.

Oh, DAT bug. We ran into it once. Were unable to replicate it. Well, we will try to get that sorted out in a post-jam version. Thanks everyone for your feedback. Glad you enjoy the game.

Ah, got to the end. :-)

Great work! I also tried to do that game-evolution stuff, but you did it much better than me, incorporating it into the game-play. Really clever, and well done and all. My favourite so far!

It's a brilliant idea to mix genres like that. I didn't like the graphics a lot, but the music was good and has a mood related to the game! The gameplay fits the theme perfectly anyway, so good job there!

OMG! The different levels of sanity are awesome. I like how you have to be insane to do part of the challenge.

Did you know that you can talk to the developers? Their names are in the credits room...
Also, there are some very interesting commands, like pay, swag and never :3

Amazingly cool idea. As others have said, I do wish there was more of a use for the NES/SNES-like modes, and more interactions possible in the text-mode, but I can understand how time pressures will have restricted what was done here!

This was brilliant, thank you. :D I got most of it until actually putting in the password, and..then I used the walkthrough, and felt stupid. Haha! Well done! :D

I love it, the commands are a little weird in the text part though in that some use noun/verb some don't, like for doctors you have to "talk" to them but to move it doesnt understand "go west" so half the games feedback to me was "i don't understand ...". I found the key to exit really quickly but again like most people had trouble actually using that information again due to the fact that the game does not like it when you prefix a command like you normally would in such games.

Also, very clever how the "most sane" mode gives you a hint as to where to go, the mode just below that didnt seem to have much use though.

Wow. Amazing. I managed to get all the way to the ending without the walkthrough, only to not use the 'recall' command (also, more intuitive for me would be to 'say' something at the end). I could get to it with some more hints. Anyway, it was so much fun, and a brilliant puzzle! Great game!

Very cool. I never figured out how to reach the third ghost, but I was able to guess the last part of the password. I loved the concept. It would be great to see a more complex expansion on it.

Great!
Took me some time to find the third ghost,
but i like the artstyle and music.
I didn't really need to use the middle two
mental states though.

Very cool having to travel through the different levels of sanity to escape. I'd really like to see an updated version where you eventually have 3D graphics levels of sanity that let you see even more things!

I love the concept here, but I had to use the walkthrough to figure out what I was supposed to be doing. Great job, I'd love to see this expanded even further- maybe you can get saner and more 3d?
