Madness of the Golden Relic by namu
Be the first to capture the relic on this frenzy party!
The ancients filled the temple with a lot of traps and few buttons, so be careful with your moves and beat your friends!
This was our first LudumDare and it was amazing, we get done very pleased with the game and with experience, for sure we'll take part in future ludum dares! Hope you like it!
[How to Play]
- Get the Golden Relic
- Move when the bar is green
- Don't die
[Controls]
- In theory it must work with 4 gamepads, but apparently sometimes only detect 2-3 of them, so if any gamepad is not working, change to keyboard as there are no problems using it.
- Computer: ASDW (Player 1) || Arrows (Player 2) || JKLI (Player 3) || NumPad 4568 (Player4)
- XBOX 360 Controller: Directional D-Pad (Arrows)
- Playstation Controller: Directional D-Pad (Arrows)

Fix 1: Removed debuging files from the .rar
Fix 2: If there aren't the number of gamepadas connected as setted in the main screen, only the gamepads connected will be assigned to a player (by player's ascending order). Otherwise the control for the rest of the players will be the keyboard.

This was loads of fun with friends and would make a great party game.
Aesthetics, music, gameplay, this game has it all. Not much i can say except good job!
I think the idea of using traps to slow/prevent your friends from moving forward therefore creating an aggressive race environment is great. But, something is missing here. I have a feeling that there isn't enough knowledge of what affects what and not enough time between moves. This makes it somewhat random as 4 players attempt to rush the middle.
Good job to your team!
I don't have much to gripe about, but I might just say it was a little hard to see what trap was in the spot directly behind the relic, and also it seems like only player 1 has the correct win animation--winning with anyone else makes them so happy that they die, haha!
Love the dancing going on in the menu screen too! Awesome game! :)
