Pegs in Space!

Travel trough space and avoid hitting the walls by shapeshifting trough four different shapes. It starts out slow but the speed increases quickly.

Hit a wall and loose a heart. Pass trough a wall and gain 1/2 half. How many walls can you pass?

Simple 3D shape game with a space feeling.

Controls:
Use keys 1-4 at the keyboard
[1] Sphere
[2] Box
[3] Cone
[4] Rectangle

The jar-file is recommended but the web version works quite nice too (in Chome and Firefox) Flash is unfortunately required to get the amazing music and sound effects.

The game is created with the excellent library libgdx.

The game and all the content was created during the jam by:

Music is nice and game is nice too, but dark dark shapes in a space-themed game are almost indiscernible.

Scored 119, really simple and fun and that music is so catchy, love it.

Fun to play! Gets you to focus and memorize. I think you could be harder on the player though, the health regen made it less of a challenge, but that's what I personally prefer. Well done!

Great concept! The only problem I encountered was that often due to the dark background I couldn't make-out the next shape.

The music was really nice and the pace of the game increased in a nice, steady rhythm.

The overall presentation and gameplay was good, but I do think some reminder of what shape is what button would have been nice. It was hard to remember sometimes when making a split-second change between shapes.

211 for me! Simple, good fun! I found that usually the main reason I missed was because I couldn't see the shape either because it was obstructed by my shape or because it was a really dark colour that I couldn't make out against the background. Music was great!

Pretty cool and hard. Got 133 before I caught a case of the dumbs and smashed into too many in a row.

I love how the game speeds up to match the difficulty. And I was surprised at how well I kept up! Good game!

Whoohoo! 201! Cool game, I like the twist you spun by having the walls at different depths and heights to make it more challenging.

Sometimes the simplest ideas make the most addicting and enjoyable products, and this game is definitely an example of that. Great job with creating a consistent and polished mood with the visuals and audio!

I also thought that the walls were too dark at first, but then realized that it was actually a good obstacle to disturb the players flow a bit. Nice game!
