An alien race has descended down on earth to extract 'resources'. They landed their alien mother ship in the middle of the city. You have been picked for a rescue mission: operation morphius. You will be equipped with the morphmobile 3000, a new type of vehicle that can transform on the fly. This shape shifting vehicle will be the key to succeeding, use it wisely!

Get into the alien spaceship and destroy the core!
(The colored thingy at the and of the space ship, requires 2 hits to be destroyed)

Jet form - can fly, but fragile. explodes on impact with ground/wall.

Don't know how cameronpenner got it working.
Every time I press O / Space the tank stops and goes into a spin. I've read the description several times now and not getting anything from it.
What am I doing wrong?

Bookmarking it and will check back later for an answer.

glaze_96 That is wierd, if you are transforming before the tank hits the ground that might be it, otherwise I don't know.

There we go, now i can play it! Must have been because I had a controller connected.

So let's see..
Died 20 times on the first few enemies before I lost interest, sadly.. It's really hard! Not gonna score you on 'Fun' as I didn't get to *play* it :)

Otherwise, I like the graphics!

Hope you had a fun time making it =)

Really rather difficult, it's a nice idea, but if you hold space it tries to morph infinitely, which is a bit odd.

The music is nice though, good job on that :)

There are lot of good things to say about this game. It feels well put together, not glitchy at all. Gfx are very good. I really like the vibe. A retro side-scrolling shooter with mech transformations - I really like that.

That said, there were some things that kept me from really enjoying this as much as I felt I should be. The precision needed to just take off from tank to plane at the very beginning seemed too tight - I wanted it to be easier at the start. I'm typically someone who likes inverted pitch controls, but for me it's a 1st-person thing only, and in this game it was a mental hurdle. I wonder if the transformations happened more quickly if it wouldn't make it easier in a good way.

I'm really impressed by the game though. Very good software, and I think all it needs is to make the outset a lot easier. With how nice this game looks, I expect there's a lot of wonderful level design that I missed out on seeing due to the initial difficulty.

Extremely difficult but fun! I wanted to keep trying but I got too frustrated with myself. Awesome graphics, awesome music, great gameplay! I really mean it is difficult, like, contra level difficult. I wish I could have beat it.

the idea is not bad but the controls are pretty hard, i feel like they can be done in simplier ways, nice audio and i like the overall mood of the game.

Really cool idea. The controls scheme coupled with the control of the jet feel a little junky but that might be intentional design. The music loop feels a little repetitive over time.

Moody atmosphere. Interesting level design. Sadly controls felt very clunky and the game itself quite buggy.
I nosedived after the first group of enemies and was able to see the entirety of the level without actually being in it.
Neat graphical style, audio was very repetitive though and got annoying quickly.
