The murder! by nospoone

[raw]
made by nospoone for LD25 (COMPO)
Game is not finished, obviously. I was going for a more subtle approach to the theme; the dectective's catchphrase would've been "You are the villain!"

This was my first entry into LD, and did reasonably well considering the RL time I had to take over the weekend.

The game ran and nearest I could tell the only thing I could do was enter two buildings. Tried walking of the edges to another screen in each direction and nothing happened.

What you have seemes like a nice concept. The scrolling is really smooth, i like that :) i accidentally walked outside of the view and that crashed the game :(

I was able to fall off the world on both the left and right sides.

Can you just go in the 2 buildings? Ran off the screen and vanished forever. When the guy told me he had a "red shirt" I kind-of felt like it was leading toward an, I'm the detective, and the bad guy at the same time kind of theme. Maybe it's a work in progress.

Ooh, edsf-controls. Cool.

Colid basis! Like movement, music and world-setup.

Looks like a good engine start but unfortunately the game didn't materialize; from the first NPC I got the hint that the player is probably the villain (well the theme didn't help with being subtle).
