Slab Judgment by Mysterarts
Hey,
This is my second entry!
(Sorry in advance for my english)
This tiny game is an opportunity for me to play for the first time with the particles in flash. (so yeah, they are everywhere ^^'). I wanted to make a game with a crowd, so I spent some time on this behavior.
Technologies:
- Flash / As3
- Flint (particules system)
- Illustrator
- GarageBand and my mouth for fx :p
How to play: kill with mouse and hit souls with the keyboard (A (or Q) and D). Souls arrived in paradise respawn into saints, who can not be sent to hell. You lose if you have more than half of the population has become saint (in white).
Todo:
- Balancing to improve challenge
- Add different powers and bonuses
- Better tutorial
- Smoother transitions
...
Thank you for reading and I hope you test Slab Judgment :)

Sorry for the lags, I slightly abused on the particles ^^
The fire was deliberately slowed compared with the mouse to create a little challenge but yeah, it's a bit frustrating;)
(For info: there is a leaderboard below the game!)
The process of sending them to hell is the most incredible feature.
My score was 113 in the first attempt and 513 in the second one.
In the second attempt I experienced a little bit of lag whenever I tried sending too many souls to hell at the same time.
I like how you also cared about the small things such as the smoothed fire or the little animation for the people.
Thematically its the first game I've seen you play a villian and always lose eventually, really smart idea and some great dynamics fencing in those souls.
The mechanics kinda remind me of "The world ends with you", since you are controling two differents players. (though that's where similarities ends... I think xD)
