The Mech Republic by aviktorov

[raw]
made by aviktorov for LD35 (COMPO)
Hello and welcome to the Mech Republic — a special place where every robot end its life cycle. Feel free to walk and jump for a while as you will inevitably fall to eternity.

All game parts (code, textures, sounds, music, etc.) were made during the compo.

P.S. This is my first compo entry (but not the first Ludum Dare) and I'm not sure if synthesized voice is ok for that format. If not, feel free to tell me about it.

How to play:
1. STAY ON THE PLATFORM!
2. [Don't] listen to AI jokes
3. Every mistake will anger the AI

Controls:
WSAD or arrow keys — movement
Space — jump
Q or E — rotate the camera

I liked the movement of the ground and the robot's jokes. Apart from lagging the crap out of my computer (my computer sucks), it was quite a cool game. The lava part is sooooo hard.

Wow. It was not at all what it looked like! Really nice!. The pulsating colors was what kept me looking!

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

I liked the idea, it was good looking but collision seemed a bit glitchy. I think I passed the lava test just by glitching up a post. I say I think because I got another lava test afterwards but didn't get a "Bad robot" response.
