DungeonShift by AssassinMonkey

[raw]
made by AssassinMonkey for LD35 (COMPO)
This is my entry for LD35, and it was my first ever Ludum Dare. I was a little to ambitious with the idea, but I think it turned out OK dispite having no time to polish and rushing the boss battle in the last hour :P

Overall it was a lot of fun and I hope to participate in the next LD compo.

PS: would add more screenshots, but im currently doing this from my phone with remote desktop

Controls:
Move: WASD or Arrow Keys
DungeonShift: X(Randomly swaps items in dungeon including weapon. Can only be used when shift is at 100%)
Shoot: LMB
Consume Potion: G
Consume Health Potion: R
Pick up new Potion: Q
Interact: Space

Adding the controls to the description would be helpful. Wasn't sure how to use potions, or if there were other things I could do I wasn't aware of.

The web domain re-routed to some Parked Domain sort of thing...may want to check that. Looks fun though!

Unity web player doesn't work anymore, can you make a webgl export?

Sweet game, especially for your first Ludum. Reminds me of the Binding of Isaac. With a little more work you could probably make a full blown game out of this.

I like the game for sure. My only problem is, every time I press the up arrow, the whole screen moves up... like it did not work well with the Web. That is not your fault at all... The game play is fun! Nice job

Really cool concept. Wish the controls were a little more intuitive since I had to keep referring to this page to see what to do. Otherwise though, a cool compo entry with a lot of potential.

Interesting mechanic! I found it mostly useful when encountering pitfalls, but the idea is cool. Got to the boss but died, it'd be nice if I could restart from that level.

Quite old school, reminded me of Gauntlet which is definitely a good thing. Glad to see that you participated for the first time, I wish you luck with your future projects.
