I started off this weekend with a Polycode/Lua entry, but after realizing early on I was running into more troubles than I could handle, I decided to try another route. So here's my entry, a minimalistic IF.
I ran out of time to make good alternatives to certain verbs. There isn't a way to type [something] on [something], just type on [something], which assumes you mean an important item like the password.
First of all, I'll just say that I'm no good at Inform and wouldn't be able to create an IF game in such a short time.
That said, while this is a solid entry, there's nothing that really wowed me. The writing is extremely sparse (fair enough, given the theme), the set-up has been done before, and the security system in the facility seems a bit lax. Also, "paper" really should be a synonym for "slip".
Hope I'm not sounding too negative. You clearly know how to make IF games; I just wanted a bit more plot and/or innovation.
