Shapes of a party official by eemmbbeerr

[raw]
made by eemmbbeerr for LD35 (JAM)
Take on the role of a commander in charge of cleansing operations in this strategy game!
The very open interpretation of the theme poses the question of what will you become: a Traitor of the Cause or a Hero of the People... those that you kill make the difference while you stay the same.

Controls:
WASD/Mouse to give commands
Q for a fun addition to the level

EDIT: We removed the link to the WebGL build because you reported that it was losing performance. The WebGL version is still accessible through the All Downloads link but it is not recommended.

Music perfectly fits the game! It had a bit problems with performance in web, and after few minutes it gets repetitive, nevertheless great job!

The idea of shapeshifting is being presented in very interesting way in this game. Nice gameplay, even though web version loses performance after first level.

Very likeable music! Hovever, the web version was veeeeeeeery imperformant and the gameplay got repetitive very quickly.

It would be nice if passing identity check would be visible on the guys themselves, not just minimap. Nice settings of the game :)

Neat take on the theme. At times it felt like the main screen was a bit too far zoomed in, so the minimap was a nice touch.

Agree with previous posters - awesome soundtrack, fun to play, interesting interpretation of shapeshifting.

This is a great game. The visual aesthetics don't come together too well, but still managed to set the mood. I recommend taking this game further.

Pretty cool game, very innovative. I loved the micromanagement aspect of the game. Unfortunately I couldn't micro properly because there was some lag between clicking the minimap and the camera moving, as well as selecting the units and commanding them to move. A shortcut to switch between modes would be nice, as well as a ground indicator to where they are moving currently (maybe even the ability to queue actions, or patrol?)

Maybe the delay was only there because I'm running it on my shitty laptop. I'll try again when I get to my desktop.

Good work!

Nice starting idea.
I would like to play an advanced version of that game, cause I really like the russian style and the way that you implement the theme. Good Work
