Just don't a relation to the theme...
Good graphics, gameplay and music.
Congratulations.
Nice mood, particules and post-processing effects :)
I like the sound too.
Good job rezoner!
> Just don't see a relation to the theme...
Well, in my opinion the gameplay is really minimalistic and the assets are quite puristic. I tried to avoid a pattern that is "I will put crappy graphics because it makes game minimalistic"
I'd love to see further development of this game! :D
(I think you need to update the source link - I was curious to see your build, but it also links to the game. )
The mechanics are simple and everything fits very nicely. Graphics are very detailed, yet small. I like the particle thingies floating around.
One thing that I thought was weird is that when you hit P it freezes the game but you can still move around.
I gave up at around 800 points but it is a smooth experience. Good job.
Mouse controls are confusing, but once I started using keyboard everything went smoothly.
The graphics, ambient, bgm are all suit for the game!
The only problem is when I rotate the planet too fast,
it's will cause some strange flickering graphic,
but that's alright :p
Good job!
I did feel it fell a bit flat after a while but that could be fixed easily with some extra colors.
Excellent.
had fun playing this game. love it !
Also, I feel I could play forever, the difficulty should ramp up a bit faster.
Great work!
Possible bug: Sometimes one or two of the stacks seemed to jump around a bit as I rotated it.
Anyway, the game was very entrancing, and I wanted to keep playing to get the sound upgrades!
One last question, is the block clearing noise in any way related to the game over song? They sounded similar but I couldn't tell.
My only with the game is, that it takes far to long for the speed to ramp up. I would've loved to see it go about 3-4 times faster (maybe in a speed mode).
Excellent job! ~
Fuck, I forgot to mention the butterflies. HOLY HELL THOSE BUTTERFLIES ARE AMAZING OwO
Music, ambient, colors, mechanics, fun :) thats a videogame!
It's hard to loose, i was over 4500 and the game wasn't getting any faster.
well last thing to say :
AWESOOOOOOOOOOME !
One of the best 48h compo game I saw, so far. Everything is perfectly polished and the audio feedbacks work like a charm :)
Really deserves an extended post-compo version :)
Nice music ;)
But I stopped at 1000.
It did became a bit repetitive after some time, but what can you expect for 48h hours of work? 5 stars, well done!
The music makes it so much more addictive! The sounds, the musical reward and fireworks when you go 'up' a level.
There's also some strategy involved.
Brilliant!
The music is amazing.
Fluid animations, pretty butterflies and meteors, good stacking gameplay. I wish the rotation was tied to keydown rather than keypress, though. It felt weird when I held down an arrow key and the planet moved one notch, paused for my key repeat delay, then continued rotating.
The only thing I'd have perfected is the pacing of the game, as it's IMO too slow to start, and the challenge don't come fast enough, but at the end don't rise too high when it's supposed to be sper hard. I stopped around 1050 with my 3 lives because I became bored.
Everything else is just great, especially your use of the theme. :)
