It's Probably Not Even Paint by J

Meh. It's not very fun, graphics are horrible-ish, sound doesn't quite fit...

So, this is a 2-player game where you have to paint the canvas with your colour. Play with WASD, left shift and space; and arrow keys, right shift and right control for the other player. One key fires a blob of paint which paints the canvas (hold it down to charge up a faster shot), and the other key speeds up the player. Note that when a blob runs out of paint, it picks up existing paint and spreads it around.

The game ends when the canvas is completely painted, at which point the player with the most paint on it wins.

I think there's potential for a really fun 2-players game here. If you just streamlined a little bit the controls, to make the movement feel smoother, and added some gameplay mechanics that allowed the players to interact between them (like being able to paralyze your opponent for a couple seconds by hitting him/her with a ball of paint), it would become a frantic piece of old-school couch fun.

All in all, a nice effort with plenty of potential for further development :)

Potential for a damn fun 2 player game as said above, but it needs more feedback for actions of the player. Controls get wonky when you move around the board, and the issue with being unable to stun or see a collective score means its more or less a sort of toy at the moment. Definitely could be a very invoking game with some upgrades you fire at to collect, some variations in terms of painting the canvas and good ol' competitive highscores. Good stuff otherwise :).

I played this game alone, so I couldn't really play it to it's full potential. But I think this could be a really fun and competitive game if two people would play it. The paint-spreading effect also allows for some strategy.

Wish I had a second player other than my cat to try it out with. A heuristic AI would have been nice, but i know how time constrained dares are.

the game's concept really makes up for the lack of graphics and sounds. I played it with a friend, and it was really cool playing this. If you could polish the controls and artwork this game would be really awesome.
