Flight Panic: Minimum by NeiloGD

[raw]
made by NeiloGD for LD26 (JAM)
2-4 players go head to head to race to the end of the game board! Strategic selection of flights, as well as playing the right speed/delay cards against the right players will ensure you get to the finish line first, and win!

This game has been done as a board game because I was flying from the UK to Australia during LD26. The game was designed on a flight to Paris, tested and balanced (mostly) on a flight to Singapore, and typed up and documented sitting in Changi Airport in Singapore.

No excuses when it comes to Ludum Dare!

Also, the "screenshot" photo is not representative of the final print out pieces as I kinda lack a printer in the airport ;)

Making a video game in 48 hours, in 10 different time zones would have been such an incredible achievement. Still, commendation for not missing this Ludum Dare despite the inconvenience. :)

The game sounds fun: Short and simple. Sounds like a game parents could play with their kids. It ends fast enough so parents don't have to dedicate hours of their time to playing.

Going with the kids theme, tho, it might be a good idea to replace the skull and crossbones on the 'delay' card with a stopwatch :)
