TOTALLY NOT GALAGA by Insederec
MAKE SURE YOU CLICK INSIDE THE WINDOW BEFORE PLAYING
It's a space shooter, like Galaga. I used a Gameboy-esque palette and made two ships: one sprays bullets while the other shoots a rail gun.
Controls:
Arrows to move
Space to shoot
Shift to change ships
Control to restart (it bugs out and won't let you change ships unless you take damage but I couldn't figure out why)

Hmmm, fun, but needs sounds and music.

I would have loved to have sound but I was just happy to get the thing out there in time.

Great start but it finished almost as soon as I was getting into it.

I really enjoyed playing with both weapons. I like that the rail gun can still be fired while charging -- just with a smaller shot. And the scattered shot added just enough randomness to keep things interesting.

Solid gameplay, I like how the bullet sprayer didn't shoot in a straight line, It made it more complex! Wildly short, but extend it and it'd be even getter ^_^

The graphics are cute but I couldn't really figure out how the big and small versions of the laser worked. It would have been nice to have a bit more longevity even if it's just "how many waves can you beat?"
