Ahoy, I put this together in about 36 hours in the second half of the jam because I was working with a team on a project and missed doing the coding (since I was doing the modeling in the other game.) So in my free time there I built this!

The goal of the game is to get as many kills, and survive, as long as possible. To stay alive shift into a shadow where you can't be hurt, but it drains quick, and the fastest way to refill the bar is to kill folks.

NOTE: If you play on this screen, I suggest playing the fullscreen version or the score clips, thanks.

Fun, but repetitive. It seemed to me that forward gets stuck on after a restart.

@hank I have that issue but only when the browser gets uppity and tries to remind me that something is taking my mouse cursor.

I added the fullscreen mode and it does help with the viewport cutting off the information, which is good.

Very cool! Great idea for the graphics! I really enjoyed it. The mouse does seem a bit on the quick side tho. Great job!

This is really fun! It's very fast-paced and what I'd call "action-packed". My only gripes would be the high mouse sensitivity and somewhat repetitive music.

hmm that's a lot of people complaining about mouse sensitivity, either my mouse is super unresponsive or I am just used to high sensitivity or something.

As for the music, yeah I wasn't happy with it, and was about to add a button to mute it... then my computer crashed and I spent an hour trying to get it going again >.< But I figured most people probably are only going to play for a couple minutes (I mean, surviving past a minute is pretty tough since it ramps up enemy spawn rate based on time)

Cool gameplay, only got to 13 its tough! only weird control i got is that i go too fast while in shadow. Kinda wish the speed stayed the same, it was throwing me off.

The mouse! lol

Once you get used to the high sensitivity, it's not bad. Might be worth adding a sensitivity option.

Wow, great stuff. The super contrasted red/blue/black was tight. And the first person sword movements were great. I would play the heck out of a more polished but equally stylized version of this game.

Simple and efficient art style and gameplay. Bit repetitive after a while but still very fun. Good job for getting this done in such a short time !

well done. I would maybe have an extra color for the env, maybe grey, so the characters don't get lost when they go onto the path that's all black. fun to play, simple but effective.

The shadow form goes away way to fast to make use of it. You either need more control over your movement or a longer shadow form. Enemies also spawn behind you a lot, like right behind.

Enjoyed the game regardless.

The shadow isn't meant to last long literally long enough to slide through an arrow and close the distance.

And yeah, I was going to add a sound for enemy spawns to help with that issue but then my computer crashed and when I came back on I just had to submit what I had done.

This is cool! Really like the art style, and the sword gameplay's fun. I didn't end up using the shadow state much - felt a little hard to control - but even without that this was a fun challenge.

I really enjoyed the gameplay, simple and fun. Hacking enemies works great, had issues with my mouse leaving the gaming area (sorry i played it on the web), but that wasn't to much of an issue. I like the shadow mechanic and for me the graphics were pretty nice actually, nice job sir!

Super cool aesthetic. I felt like a badass when I zoomed from place to place in shadow form. I really liked how you stuck to a two color scheme. It really evoked some cool old samurai movie feelings. Great job!
