Triplets Team by davalcordub

made by davalcordub for LD35 (JAM)
Triplets Team is a game where you move in a geometric world and you can change to different shapes to accomplish goals. The mechanical are very simple, you just move with the arrow keys, plus to change your shape you need to press A, S or D.

NOTE: The game is not over yet, given the short time I had, I could not finish applying all mechanical and focused only on the movement through the levels and the application of basic type of collision. I will continue working on the game to finish and I'll upload it in the same folder on Dropbox with a different name in the next couple of weeks. There are just 2 levels.

The concept of the game is to find the exit at all levels, but from start to level 3 must avoid obstacles appear, you should also collect items that will give you score. The game has no history.

It is a very simple game, need a lot of improvements, but to be my first game I think I did a very good job ;) ...

It was making me open it with gamemaker not as an export. Can you make an exported version without needing to dowload gamemaker? Idk if you can.

Don't know if I'm missing something, but that was just two screens of levels. One thing I noticed is that you are allowing no movement on collisions, you could still allow X movements or Y movements depending on your collision.. sometimes, just a thought.

Are there only the two levels or did I miss something? Tried it out, but I don't quite see where you're going with it yet. Congrats on getting your first game playable though. Final note: I'd suggest exporting as an .exe rather than an installer, because it lowers the bar for others to play it (I made the same mistake on a previous LD).

First of all, welcome to Ludum Dare! I hope you're enjoying it!
It's very simple, not much to it since it's not complete, but still it's a start! Congrats on your first game!

Btw I agree with the tips that @Hankenstien and @mike.cullingham gave you!

A good start for some good game ... too bad I have no idea what it could be (don't be afraid to talk about what you wanted to do). It still lacks gameplay concept. The best part is the audio for me, music's nice. ^^

I really appreciate all comments, I did not know About That Problem with the executable, mistake of beginner hahahaha, also I understand the point about the levels and the gameplay. I finished uploading a new file to Dropbox which is a .zip that contains the .exe with the one all can play the game without the need of install it. Really thanks for the advice guys, and update the detailed description with the concept of the game , given the short time I had I could not finish implementing all mechanical and why is that the game is incomplete.

There's not much here, but I like the direction. Keep at it and I'm sure we'll see something bigger and better from you next time!

@Jungle In the description I say that I did not have much time so I did only two levels and I focus on implementing some mechanical, I am working to improve the game and for the next Ludum Dare I hope I can make something unforgettable ;) ... @rjhelms @bradur really thanks
