Feather by runvs

[raw]
made by runvs for LD35 (COMPO)
Feather is a straight forward, cyberpunk adventure game. You are Rat, a Shadowrunner. Your friend Feather went missing and it is your task to find her.

Tools used were Haxeflixel & Flashdevelop, Notepad++ and Cubase for the soundtrack. Due to time restrictions I could not implement many multiple choice answers.

There are two builds: flash (web, recommended) as well as a windows download.

Very nice and very unique entry, the most different I've seen so far. Love text adventures, but would have liked a bit more of interaction through the story. The interface is great, simple, direct and intuitive (talking about the timed-button with the filling bar). Nice job!

A really interesting little story you have here! The art and appearance was very crisp and neat to look at and read off. I also found the pacing of the text and choices to be perfectly done. Really good job!

The mood was very strong, good job in creating atmosphere!
Text adventures are not really my cup of tea, but seems like a nice start for one.

I dig the minimalistic style of it all.
Well written as well - I got a shadowrun vibe really fast. :)

Overall unique and great entry!

Long time I didn't play a text adventure, it was cool, but pretty short, and lets me wondering about this story of shapeshifting pills... ^^

Nice, atmospheric little tale. I'd love to see where you could take it given more time.

I was surprised about this being a text adventure, such an original entry! You got the tone of atmosphere so right, and the idea of the filling button was reallty nice. With more options would be perfect.

The world needs more cyberpunk! Great atmosphere, great story, but I would have loved a few more branches or choices to really make it feel like a game.

The button-press thing was actually quite interesting for a text-based game (I don't play many text games, so you might know this already). But every time I held the button, I felt like I was supposed to make a big decision and the game was letting me back out if I could. This mechanic would pair well with a choice-consequence storyline.

Overall, great game! Hope you'll work on a post-jam version with more story and some visuals or something!

Short but sweet game. Good job on the music. It set the mood perfectly but didn't push into the foreground. The writing is really good.

Great interactive Shadowrun-style cyberpunk story, well done for the short time, atmospheric background music too. Never seen a Text Adventure done in Flash before.. Yes, more choices would be good. And: I'd love to read the rest of the story ;)
Great job!

Couldn't play. I press the number button but nothing happens. It could be that I'm on laptop and have no numeric keyboard...

The atmosphere and polish on this was really good. The writing could be touched up a little but overall my only disappointment here is that the story ended so quickly...

I didn't totally get the link to the theme since it was only hinted at in the end, would've been nice to find out more of what exactly transpired there.

wow~ that is the first time play game like this type in LD,so amazing and cool!~ it has great atmosphere, these flow and rotate boxes give the background add so great rhythm...if there are some graphic ,it may be more great to enhence player's understand for this game? but i think this also may broken the very great minimal style (ToT if my english skill can be more good i must could get more from it...)
finally , i love the choose butoon! really nice design(touch method also the flow feeling, fit the totally ambient very nice!)

Interesting little story, only played it once through so I'm not sure if there where different out comes for different choices made but I liked the idea of the story.
