Very interesting mechanic :) I suspect you might catch a bit of crap for theme interpretation, but personally I think it's a pretty imaginative direction to go in, so high marks for doing something different!"},{"author_name":"okmmjyygv","author_uid":"26527","time":"Aug 28, 2013 @ 10:22pm","epoch":1377728220,"text":"Like the graphics :) Great. There was no sound for me (Windows 7) double-clicking on the jar, but running with java -jar it did work. I have no idea why that should be. The '10 second' thing seemed tenuous. Also I didn't read the controls properly first time, and was eaten by a bear while reading a journal entry."},{"author_name":"IonProgramming","author_uid":"14004","time":"Aug 30, 2013 @ 7:13am","epoch":1377846480,"text":"Hmm, seems to be a few bugs there... As for screen size, sorry about that... I will fix that in a future release after the competition.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Acro, No actually, EVERYTHING was done during the competition, and we had a day less than everyone else :) some of those feature seem complex but really aren't, eg. the cave lighting is just a simple PNG with transparency drawn over the top, and the noise is just done with random numbers.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Thanks for all the feedback!"},{"author_name":"Aslai","author_uid":"8782","time":"Aug 31, 2013 @ 8:15am","epoch":1377936600,"text":"I was contemplating a similar interpretation of the theme, but decided against it because the actual meaning might get lost.
