So before you go mental at me read our story in the game it explains a lot and lets hope next time is better.

This game is inspired by old school games where being skilled with movement is useful and helps you progress through the level

Controls:

W/A/S/D = Move
Space = Jump
R = Restart (Doesn't reset time sorry but its a challenge :) )
M = Menu
Q = Quit (Most pressed button probably)

P.S. Post your fastest times in the chat!

Please dont include the pdb debug files with your build, as it drastically bloats the filesize for those of us on slow connections who just want to try your game http://i.imgur.com/RtcTtxd.png

gripes aside: sorry about your grandfather. Mine passed away recently too.

the cursor vanishes once you've been in-game and go back to the menu
the movement was very twitchy - i'd have loved a "warm up" area with some simpler jumps, and more vertical play might have been interesting
was very glad there are checkpoints!

Level 1 Time:
67.37 first try
14.67 best
Level 2 Time:
didn't seem to measure? i died a lot though, no checkpoints made it quite punishing

Interesting game overall, no idea where the theme came in though!

It's a shame you couldn't work more on the game, but I'm sure you'll do it next time! Keep working, and practicing too! :D

I'm sorry for your grandfather, mine passed away 2 years ago and it was kinda hard on me too. I had to do a lot of rushed things at the time, so I totally understand what happens. :/

I got to make 143.43 on the first level, after dying a lot and didn't finish the second, as I rage quit after dying a lot. :P

I like these types of challenging games, minimalistic is the way to go when doing these! ;)

Cheer up and keep gaming! You made something and that's a great thing already!

Congrats!

I am sorry for your loss.

There is no need to make a rushed game like this, it's not exactly a competition. If you couldn't make it, that's not a gigantic problem.

...because frankly, this wasn't a good entry. FPS platforming rarely works. Here it doesn't. It just looks unfinished and unpolished with no connection to the theme. There is no innovation or some story or anything else. Even the controls seem to be off. I do not see the point of this.
