The Super Fair Trial Show by Gabriel
Super Fair Trial Show is an arena shooter made in 72 hours that features massive procedural generation: arenas, monster behaviors, events and weapons!
*** PLEASE UNZIP THE WHOLE FOLDER AND MAKE SURE TO RUN AS ADMINSTRATOR!!! ***
The game uses one file external to the exe to handle IA, so this is necessary to have the enemies working - thanks for your understanding! ;)
CONTROLS:
WASD - Moves
J - Shoots
DOUBLE TAP WASD - dodges / dashes
HOLD J - allows to move around freely while keeping aiming and shooting to the same direction
(These commands are essential to have any chance in the game!)
In a dystopian future, traditional court judgements were considered too boring, and were replaced by a much more interesting system: broadcasted gladiator fights against genetically engineered monsters! You play as a convict trying to make his case by surviving the arena. Every 10 seconds, the audience votes for the introduction of a new rule! How's that for a fair judgement? :D
These last 3 days have been absolutely insane and earlier today we were still unsure if we would at all be able to submit due to bugs. Fortunately these last hours turned out ok, so we think everything is working. We hope you enjoy! Ah, and please let us know in the comments how far you got! :D

(FIX: we fixed the game over crash that would keep the player from returning to the main menu, and fixed whatever the problem was with the sounds)

Great visuals, mood and gameplay. The procedural levels give it a long life!
It hit right on my spot.
@mcburrobit - I'll look into that, thanks for reporting!
@Rick Hoppmann - Too bad, I'd love if it worked on Linux! I'll see if we can manage to port it somehow. :)
I prefer that than writing my email here to avoid those damned spam bots! :D
Tks once again, btw!
The game lags a little on my laptop and I've had graphical problem before on this laptop so it is probably my end.
Thanks for the request for the creative mode on 10 Second Happy Rocket. The mode is live now from the game's page. ^^ Thought I'd let you know.
This is pretty awesome! I love the tweets and random rule changes and such. Good job!
PS. Quando vi "Aff, tudo em ingreis essa merda...", rachei o bico. Parab茅ns, caras ;)
You rock
I really like the presentation. The way the game starts, changing TV channels, is both good looking and does a good job of introducing the game's concept.
The graphics are really pretty and the gameplay is smooth. The dodge function is specially cool :)
The twitter calls during the game are great too, and add to the presentation!
I also like how the gameplay keeps changing, how there's a lot of variety to the weapons and to the monster design.
All in all, a great game! Congratulations!
Just to be picky, the WASD controls are a bit glitchy. Other than this, one of the best entries this edition.
And LOL at the "spectators" comments.
The weapons are fun, the commentary is funny and the music is great!
Awesome job guys! :)
Note:
There were some small tecnical problems, it says it doesn't have the SFX folder and will run without the sound, but the folder is there and the sound seems normal.
When I tried to close the game it crashed, even executing with admin.
