Asterion's Tower by dts
"10 companions have arrived at the base of a tower in the middle of nowhere. A voice from above guides them in."
First time entry. Meant to do the 48 hr solo submission but came into this whole thing a day late. Not really important but technically this was done in 48 hrs.
Made in free version of Unity3d, so you'll need their webplayer to play it.
Game is very ugly haha. All the visuals are primitives from Unity3d engine. There is no audio.
I focused more on trying to tell a story that tied in with the theme, in addition to having "10 seconds" as part of the gameplay mechanics. It's not an original story though. You've probably heard of it before in another form.
Thanks to the itch.io guy for the free webhosting.
And thanks to you for checking out the game.
Oh and for the completionists out there...there are two different endings plus the typical "you failed, game over" ending.

Good concept, but I think you should either change the cameras aspect ratio or go to a different type of camera all together(orth or iso) because it felt a little awkward. Do you have plans to continue developing?

Was not bad, except could not read the story at the same time while playing (or was at least hard to do so)

ahh this is tricky,i keep rolling off as soon as some levels begin. on the plus side, retries are nice and quick which is good for the theme.

hey this was fun! It was a little harsh that it took you down to level 1 when you die. Maybe if it takes you down one level it would be more fair. But good job!@
