The Cell by Layl
YOu got a cell, but what to do with it ?
Each ten seconds if proteins in its environment are stimulating it, it divides and a tumor starts to grow. Keep growing, but care the antibodies trying to stop your progress.
- left and right click to attract / repulse proteins particles
- I was in a hurry so the game isn't finished at all and got a few bugs, like the cursor not resizing when the view zooms out, and it's a bit laggy sometimes, there's no winning condition, no menu and no score. No tutorial neither, so i'll explain it here:
Let blue proteins come to the cells you are cultivating, don't let orange proteins come as they will destroy your cells.

Cool game mechanic, it works really well and it's fun to play. Controls are smooth and the art is consistest, but I don't think it relates much to the theme. Good work!

Not bad. I had quite some fun flinging the particles/proteins around. I didn't really care for the antibodies though, it seemed to work out nontheless and the cells kept expanding.

The actual interaction of attracting and repelling the proteins is really satisfying. I had a difficulty time distinguishing the antibodies at times - maybe if they were a different shape? Nice work!

interesting, i played til there were no particles left. Could be cool to expand upon. It is pretty hard to control which particles you want, maybe only have antibodies repulse or something like that (and make antibodies actively seek out the cells)?
