Reshapi by Myko

[raw]
made by Myko for LD35 (COMPO)
Reshapi is a Reversi (Othello) clone where the player can shift the shape of the game board between a square and hexagonal grids. Use this ability to gain additional and/or better moves than what is available on a simple square grid.

Instructions:
The player is always the blue sphere. Place spheres to capture the red boxes. Captured boxes will turn into spheres. But beware, the AI player will try to capture your spheres! The player with the most tiles when there are no more possible moves wins the game.

Features:
- Play against the AI
- Pixelart graphics
- Sound effects

Tools used:
- Unity 5.3
- Visual Studio 2015

Kept me entertained for a while, as games are supposed to do. I won the first round by just clicking, the second round i realized the rules and i lost.

This takes Reversi to a whole new level! Won the first game, lost the second one. Amazing!

The board shifting mechanic was actually pretty cool. Makes for a nice little twist on the conventional Reversi rules.
