Centhra's Tempus by Slicksilver555

[raw]
made by Slicksilver555 for LD27 (JAM)
Description:
Tempus is Centhra's 72 Hour Jam entry for Ludum Dare 27. As the protagonist of this game, your goal is to defeat each room challenge in under ten seconds. To help defend you from the evil people inhabiting this futuristic construct, you've adopted the use of multiple superpowers. Among these powers are the ability to slow, freeze, burn, move, and constrict. Tempus is heavily physics based, and using an ability called Telekinesis you are able to throw objects around the map, including the weapons of your enemies.

Running:

Currently, only a Windows stable version has been built. We will likely upload a Linux build later on. In the mean time, if you really want to run this game on Linux, it is possible to build it from the github repository if you install the requirements (Box2D, Centhra-Engine, freetype2, and the OpenAL SDK). This game was built using a custom-built game engine and thus lacks support for Mac OSX. Sorry.

Controls:

W, A, S, D and both mouse clicks. Running over powerups will offer you a new power to use in either the left or right click slot. If you do not desire this new powerup, simply right-click or press escape. To pause the game, press escape.

Development Notes:

This was Centhra's fifth attempt at Ludum Dare, and our first attempt using our very own in-house game engine. Developing this game was not only extremely fun and challenging, but amazingly educational.

We have to manually add the OpenAL32.dll to play the game but it's a nice work!
