Endless Shipshifter by Multiplexor
You have been sent with the wonderful Vessel "The Shipshifter" to investigate a foreign planet! Other expeditions were sent there before you but none of them have returned! Will you be able to surpass any obstacle and make it back home?!
Endless Shipshifter is an arcade game where you keep on building your ship as you progress! The game focuses on survival and skill keep in mind that trying to kill all the enemies is not always the best option!
All feedback is appreciated! Thanks for playing!

I tried making a webGL version but it's giving me too many problems, so I uploaded a Standalone one instead!
Also, you can skip the texts with the SpaceBar :)
Thank you all for the feedback!
Also, maybe try zooming out the camera a little. I only got to 5 or 6 pieces, but I felt like at that point, I wanted to maybe have a little more space to see ahead/around me. Then maybe I could have got a sense of where I was going beyond just whether to turn left or right at the next corner. Would have also been nice to have some more open areas to contrast with the tight maze. (Or maybe the game had that and I just didn't discover it :p).
A few things didn't make sense, like being unable to kill the turrets with regular white lasers, and the red enemies still damaging the ship even when I hit it with my battering ram piece.
Music and sfx were great! Shame the music didn't quite loop. I also liked that you got some story in there and the dialogue was cool, the intro looked great and the graphics looked great!
I only have two complains:
- The big ship in your main screenshot is misleading advertising. I want a ship that big but afaik I cannot have that in those tight spaces.
- I was expecting the ship to loose parts when hit instead of dying all at once. This way it would be more like shifting and make it somehow easier to explore different ship configurations.
I loved the presentation: story beginning and the end with stats and also the little segments for installing new parts.
And thanks everyone for the feedback! It's all very helpful! :)
My only sugestion is the posibility of manually rotate the ship.
I did struggle at the start with lackluster firepower and a tough-to-control ship (being stabilised was a relief!), but I don't mean that as a negative: I really felt like I was progressing as I upgraded the ship, getting stronger and stronger. Not too strong, though!
Great job! If you do develop it further, it'll be interesting to see where it goes.
