Shapeshift Flood by RegaCaska

[raw]
made by RegaCaska for LD35 (COMPO)
Summary
-------
Out shapeshift your opponent to controlling the world!

A color-flooding style game built around two opposing shapeshifters.

Instructions
------------
The goal of the game is to own the majority of the board. The number of tiles own by each player can be seen under each player's name.

To capture tiles, change your color using the buttons on your player's side. Your current tiles will change to the chosen color, and adjacent tiles of that color will be added to your domain!

A player cannot choose their own color, or their opponent's current color.

The game ends when all tiles are owned by any player.

Notes
-----
Its 2 player right now. Was hoping to build a simple AI, but ran out of time.

Changes
-------
*Changed Embeded player to OpenGL to allow Chrome Players to play.
*Added additional Screenshots.
*Added instructions to Description.

One of the best games I've seen this jam. Would love more players and online multiplayer.

The game strategy is really fun! I've never played a game like this before. I'm playing alone, but it had me thinking about every single move for a few minutes!
Good job! :>

This is quite a fun little game. I didn't quite get it at first, but I got into the game quickly. Good Work!

This is really impressive! I would love to see this expanded; its a great idea. Would make a great multiplayer app.

Also, adding instructions to your description might be a good idea; I was unsure of what was going on at first.

Fun to play, and strategic depth with the colors to choose from (opponent can't choose the color you have, so blocking moves are possible). Would love to see what you can make out of this with more time :)

Very cool game and concept. An AI opponent would be nice. :)

Basic, but a really great idea. Very well done. I'm sure with some small tweaking to the mechanic it could be even better.
