I have to say the game felt pretty good right at the start, but after 3 or 4 rooms the level is completely empty and there's nothing else.
Maybe try to work on it tomorrow and enter the compo instead ?

Fun game! Reminds me of Binding of Isaac a lot (I assume that was deliberate). I didn't understand for several playthroughs that the "blood" was some sort of acid that made me lose health. Might need a way to communicate that to the player through audio/visions better.

Nice entry though! I enjoyed the artstyle and gameplay.
