Hey looking good. The idea is really interesting but it's too bad that you can't "retract" you're choice when you have 3 rows selected. Good job anyway !

I like the idea, but either I am too stupid or the game is too difficult. I consider both possibilities ;)

YESSSSSSSS!!! I managed to win ONCE. Really nice mechanic that I hadn't seen before. Amazing job!

Love the concept, but I guess I'm not smart since I couldn't win a single time. Still, I kept trying over and over, so there's something magic going on here!

Cool puzzle mechanic and sweet art. I really like the concepts here and I'd love to see you develop this further. Maybe have a few non-randomized levels at the beginning to get the players acclimated. But overall, this was fun.

Yeah, this is a really interesting puzzle mechanic! I love how you really have to pay attention to the whole field - just because its a space you're not planning on stepping on doesn't mean you can ignore it.

I would suggest two changes:

Make the rock heights easier to distinguish. The higher rocks are a little lighter, but particularly with the irregularity of the texture, can make it hard to tell when a taller stone is in front of a shorter stone. Outlining or burning the edges of the stones could help.

Have a restart button. Its easy to lose any possible solution in the first few moves, and then I'd just have to spam random moves till I hit a lose condition.

I liked the way Jim bowed to me at the end too!

it took me some time to realize what i had to do, but this pretty good, it's a shame that there's no audio, but very good anyway!

I love the idea !
It's a really great reflexion game. Far better than bejeweld or thing like that !
sOne thing however: The game is realy difficult. And you should add a retry button.

I really like the graphics and the concept of this game. It took me some time to figure out how to play, but after that the game played really smooth. Nice work!

The character animation on victory condition is pretty funny. He is so happy and thankful. I couldn't hear anything, is there no audio? Maybe some bubbling lava would help creating the mood. Good work overall!

I would've wanted more theme apropriateness, but other than that it's an awesome game.

Very interesting puzzle mechanic which I haven't seen yet. Good job!

Well the theme is not the main part in a Ludum Dare game, so i think this game is just fine :)

This was quite compelling. It took me a few tries to figure out exactly how to do it, but I was very pleased when I made it to the other side! A good idea.

I find it hard for me :) Is there always a way to win?
Also I couldn't exit the game, maybe a bug or something...
Why isn't there a web version since it's made with Unity?

Enjoyed the game. Found it difficult to see whether blocks would be of the correct height. Otherwise fun mechanics!

Quite fun game, but it's very hard to understand how high exactly the given hex is. It makes it very hard to play.

Great game and concept.
Very difficcult, but you get the hang of it over time.
I had a little bit of a problem figuring out how high some platforms were in relation to each other, other than that, excellent work in 48 hours!
Well done!

Nice game! At first I don't understand how to win this game, then later when I have figured out how it works, then it all becomes fun! Great work. However, I can't win on some of the randomly generated levels though. Also, not to mention that when you win and you clicked on the screen, the player teleports back to the start and walk all over again, but fortunately it's not the game killer. Nice job!

Nice little puzzle. A bit hard at times to see what level the different bricks were at. When you get some sound in it I think it will add a lot to the atmosphere. It would have been nice with a web-version, since it's unity it is super easy to fix (and you are allowed to upload ports after deadline), and a quit button inside the game for when not playing the webversion...

Hi all,

I have updated my game ”You only get one chance to save your ass” using your comments:

1. Sounds added

2. Menu added

3. Three different difficulty levels

4. Heights are now more recognizable

very interesting concept, and pretty difficult. i found it mainly banked off of a good spawn of blocks. but fun!

Cool graphics, found it a bit hard at times (old version) to see differences between tiles if they were hidden by higher tiles. Good luck!
