Left unfinished due to hatred toward written code and lack of will to cary on using it. It's playable, but only just. Also, no web capabilities because Applets were being dumb.

I started this with really ambitious goals for a full on story-based game with multiple different paths to take that would dramatically affect each story, each story only being playable once and in order. Right from the start, though, that was not clearly defined in my head. I started coding and designing without fully thinking of the best way to make sure things all work together and are flexible and easy to implement. Everything sucks.

Like I said, it's playable, but the story is very short and choppy and gameplay is just as not-good. Some textures look alright because they're only 3 colors and boxes and the rest were just meant to be placeholders. There were supposed to be five playable stories, but I only "finished" two.

Rate as you will with the above in mind.

Heh. The list you find with Sanchez made me chuckle.

It's obviously only a beginning but I enjoyed this. I would love to see it finished.

Hmm, I really tried to make progress in this one, but every time I showed an item to one of the companions it ended the game! Maybe I was winning. :) The control scheme was pretty awkward to me, as I kept forgetting which one was which.

Yeah, the controls were all just temporary and I didn't get around to finding a comfortable one for everyone. I love the concept of this game, but the execution was absolutely terrible (look at the source, you'll see why I stopped xD)

I might remake-and-finish this eventually, but I'm working on a few other things to make game dev (and Ludum Dare next time) a lot easier and still feel satisfied that I did it all.
