Great game, couldn't get passed the pterodactyl though, slingshot is a little hard to use.

Very "completed" feeling. Nice artwork and gameplay mechanics! Polished jam entry, good job!

The art is really cool! The weapons seemed slightly odd as in I just always used the last weapon I got to kill. Wish it was possible to dodge by jumping (or maybe I lack the skills). All in all a really well polished game for a jam!

Tried playing the game in Chrome, and wasn't able to switch to the club or attack the lizard dudes right at the start. Maybe it's a Chrome bug? Art looks really cool though. Would love to give this another try if I can.

Really lovely style! The characters and buildings were fabulous. I love the simplicity of it. (Although I did die repeatedly on the pterodactyls)

Died just after I got the bow. Loved the artwork and gameplay. The slingshot was hard to use however, I did enjoy it a lot.

the smith that gives you the axe, that animation is superb! all the char dev is good fun. the slingshot mech is wonky and I missed sounds. nice work overall! -T

One of the more true to theme games out there. Combat is a bit simple but the polish is all there.

This has been said a million times, but the artwork in this game really pops! The animation on the NPCs is especially good-- it's very smooth and looks professional!

I would have loved for the game to be a little more responsive-- little visual touches like knockback, flashing, or hurt animations would have made it a lot easier to see what was going on when you were attacked or attacked other enemies.

Very well polished even without the sound! The ranged weapons were a little buggy though. Also a charge bar would have worked well with the ranged weapons.

Love the art style! It's adorable. Character and enemy design is good. Animations for the most part were very nice (lack of aiming animation stuck out). I agree with WolfkingW, needed some kind of response(s) when creatures were hit.

The art was amazing! The gameplay started off kind of boring, but got a little more interesting with the addition of the slingshot and bow and arrow. Would've liked some sound effects, but it worked fine regardless.

Great artwork, solid gameplay. Played four times. First time, couldn't select the club, tried to punch out the lizards- to no avail. Never had a problem with the weapon selection again. Second time, got to the second Pterodactyl scene and died to a baby t-rex. Third time, got murdered by the second Big Rexes. Fourth time, got stuck on the first Pterodactyl scene- think I killed the last Pterodactyl off screen- shot off screen for a few minutes, but no continue came up and the game wouldn't let me advance. Sound will add a lot. Fantastic use of theme, graphics, interfaces, and pretty near complete!

Incredible how you guys made great looking 2D art in just days. Very impressive game. The only thing missing its music and sound effects, if it had those it would be an incredible game.

I really like the pacing, each level transitions very smoothly(mechanically and balance-wise), just wish there was a level reset for the later levels. P.S. glad to see someone else using the superpower packs

The art and presentation was great, but the game itself felt a little shallow. With some more polish, and perhaps sound/music, this would be much improved.

Nice game! Cute art style, simple and responsive controls, wish it had sound and some more animation to indicate when things get hit though. Overall good work!

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description. (you can already find several games from the jam there)

Neat art and animation.
I would like to see feedbacks on actions done (like impacts fx on hitting enemies) because while i was playing i didn't felt achieving things.
I got stuck in the level with pterodactyls because they left the level locking me in the level.
I was a bit frustrated to see i cannot kill a t-rex without getting hurt at first but after i figured out you could get them in a better way with the wood club.
I played a 2nd time and success against pterodactyls to die in the next level.
I stopped after.
With and interesting leved design it could be really better.

This is a fun game, and the art is really good, and the story, while simple, is well written.

The most annoying part, however, was the fact that after you die you have to start the whole game over again.

Impressive graphics, simple mechanics and great variety of weapons. The "restart when you die" policy keeps up the challenge.
Well done!

Of all the games we streamed last night on Twitch, this is one of my favourites. Everything worked great together, would play a lot more of it. Great job!

Nice game, little bit short and maybe a bit easy, but the idea is cool and the graphics as well.

This was a nice short and sweet game. Had a little trouble firing ranged weapons at first, but I got use to the controls.

Loved this. The artwork is seriously beautiful. The animations were great. I'm really surprised how much art you got done in such a short amount of time. I really love the blacksmith and his animations. I want more though! Audio would be a first, but more gameplay. This art is just too great to be such a short game.

Really great game concept. I see a lot of expansion potential if you plan on working more on it. If not, I can't wait to see more from you.
