We decided to enter in the Jam, because we wanted to pull this project of as a team.\r\nSadly we decided only one day before the event started to enter it and so we had no preparation. Also we had no experience with Slick 2D.\r\n\r\nWhat worked:\r\n- We actually \"finished\" a \"game\" in one weekend :D\r\n- The graphics are not the worst we have ever seen\r\n\r\nWhere we failed:\r\n- The first idea was dumped 15 hours in\r\n- The idea that we used was not well elaborated\r\n- We made no plan\r\n- The code is total crap and patched-up like hell :) \r\n\r\nFor our first time in Ludum Dare we were pretty successful, since we finsihed a game and we are confident, that we do better next time. :)\r\n\r\nControls:\r\n- left arrowkey : move left\r\n- right arrowkey: move right\r\n- space         : activate platform \r\n\r\nDescription:\r\n#YOGO Platform is about a platform(you) that tries to save the last robot out of a burning factory building, \r\nthat is constantly trying to jump in the fire below your platform.\r\nTo fullfill this quest you can activate your platform by pressing \"SPACE\". But watch your powerbar, so you do not run out of power.\r\nCollect the falling yellow batterys to fill your powerbar and avoid the falling white batterys, that take power from your powerbar.\r\n\r\nProgramming Language: Java\r\nGraphics Engine: Slick2D\r\n\r\nProgrammers:\r\nMalte Heinzelmann\r\nPhillip Schichtel\r\nJonas Dann\r\n\r\nArtist:\r\nJonas Dann\r\n\r\nSounds:\r\nMalte Heinzelmann\r\n\r\nCheat codes:\r\nType the cheatcode and the press \"end\" on your keyboard\r\n- \"phillip\" : to turn off the collisions (insider joke)\r\n- \"jonas\"   : to make some of the fonts black (insider joke)\r\n- \"malte\" : make the game a bit harder ;)\r\n- \"soundoff\": to turn off the sound","title":"#YOGO Platform"}
