When I figured out you could pan the selection to unlock more and more creatures, my mind was blown

Wow, I have a little trouble figuring out why it's fun, but it is! High points for Fun and Humor! I want this game on my Android.

seems like a decent working game. would be nice if there would be some boxes arround the lists of items that indicate you can scroll.

first of all: thank you all for giving it a try! I`m VERY happy to see you liked the game. It means a lot.

second: thanks for the feedback.

third: replies:

@deathray: nicely put, it is indeed hard to find out about that both achievements and the creatures list are scrollable. I will build an extra version correcting this as an enhanced edition

@Therrato: not saving? hmmmm i must fix it promptly. it is a game about time after all. also, about the scroll indication, see comment above

Great Job. I love clicking games. Probably too much

Side Note: Since you used Unity I suggest making a Linux build. The Web player does not work on Linux boxes.

Wow. Wow.... Wow. This is total brain dope. :) It's still running and I'm eagerly awaiting my opportunity to get a ... red blob thing so I can get $14 per arbitrary time unit.... I've been totally skinner boxed and my brain likes it.

Great music, sound, graphics. Disturbingly effective psychology... makes me feel rather like a primate.

LukeR: thanks

LastResortGames: yep. I will do this. Nice tip.

netguy204: the CRAB! (yes... the pixelART is a bit abrastract :p). Just remember that God also felt this way when creating all things. He played this game for six days... than rested ;)

THANKS ALL (i will try to play your games in return!)

So this is really quite similar to Cookie Clicker, which has been making the rounds recently. It's a nice implementation of the concept, though!

@croze, yep, it can go insane high numbers

@JaymeeMak, yep. I heard about it when i told a friend about the idea. It definitively would inspired me with some ideas. thanks!

@doitle: the Win version does not need it. Just download and play. See the download link at Gamenific site.

@flatgub: yep, i confess the music is really great. Thanks for the complements.

Really addictive, as others mentioned before me, it reminded me of cookie clicker too ^^
Great humor and excellent music... I wish it was possible to progress without having to click like crazy all the time :D

I don't really get the connection to the theme, but wow, this is beautiful. The music rounds it out so nicely and the whole thing is just lovely and relaxing and...addicting! Great work, you really know how to make an inviting game.

@AMSmirnov: i bet your mouse hates me!

@Blooperly: yep. one main mechanichs was to design something that you play very broad time scale. Nice you liked it.

@yosh: yep. after people telling me about this cookie clicker I had to check this out. and yes, similar mechanics. It would be a great inspiration if i knew this before :) I wish it was possible to DEVELOP it without clicking like crazy too :P

@30dogs: well... when i saw the theme i tought: SH#T! What im going to do. Turns out to be a present in the games`s UNIverse kinda theme and the main mechanics: clicking is the only action to make! :D

Very good game to be made in short amount of time, I'd say it lacks the cookie-clicker balance. Also save doesn't work on web, but still a cool game.

Maybe if you wanted to take this game further you would play up the creation aspect and instead of cookie clicker's rain of cookies players would instead see a evolving image of the world/universe they are creating.

Very well done though.

@funkselektor: pray pray pray!!!!

@Ryusui: imagine stuck for 3 days during the development!

@joe40001: WOW, thanks for the feedback and insights! I will definitively take them into account when expanding the game later. It of course had to be very concise due the time constrain, but it seems to be a candidate for an extra love.

BEST REGARDS TO ALL. and remember to pray before bed.

Sound effects are well-made and appropriate, music is FANTASTIC, lots of lovely graphical sugar though I noticed the boarders of the inventory seemed a little bare. The game kept me clicking for a good while but... honestly, jesus, I couldn't give two fucks about these sorts of games. BUT! It looks like a really well-made version of this sort of game within the three days! Well done! =)

WHY!? Oh god why..? I already have had cookie clicker and clicking bad open for weeks and now I get this. The girlfriend joke made me lol (not easy to do). Sound is a bit of an issue as you have noticed, also the window size looks like it was obviously made for a phone and was a bit difficult/frustrating to work with on PC. Other than that good work :)

20. Dec 2013 · 21:03 UTC
@Ithildin: thanks. i could only dedicate a bit more in graphics and music because of the simplicity of the game ;)

@netguy204: dont be! some friends asked if it would be possible, due the absurd cost. They played and played once i told yes, you can! :P

@doitle: wow! thanks! I`m definitively planning to expand it to a whole new level. LD scope forced me to do just the basic mechanic. I will let you know the updates!

@Reverend Speed: I appreciate your comments. All sound effects and music were made using free tools, just took a while to tweak them. I was aiming to a totally different art direction but by monday morning it was clear that it was impossible. The final result is a mix.

@Scriptorum: Yep. i agree. thanks :)

@DanielSnd: sorry to see that you did not get the game :P Still it is very rewarding to see someone else playing your game. I confess that the whole user interaction is a bit dificult. I could not determine but just looking if you were playing the windows or web version.

@deathray: Oh no!!! you are right, it seems it is broken :( I WILL make a enhanced edition this weekend. It will work, its a promise!

@The Eve Cult:Hehehehe the whole angel random talking was a last minute thing. Couple hours before submitting the game, I realized that, without an tutorial, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to understand. So i programmed the feature. It took me no seconds to imagine some random crazy chit chat. It is hard to think in 40+ funny jokes to avoid repetition. :P good to hear you liked.

@lotusgame: just in the middle of the development i discovered "this kind of game" existed. I liked but I see and opportunity to give it some more than clicks. I will give CreatorSST a total remake in the future with more meat.

WHY.SO.ADDICTING?
MAKE ME STOP!
AHHHH.
Good job! Top marks for graphics, fun and audio.
I think you may need somekind of indicator that there are more creatures to the left (maybe as simple as increasing the spacing a few pixels, so the 3rd creature gets a little cut off)
Great entry.

Hi, here is is some feedback !
The good points :
- addictive
- clean graphics
- music
- general atmoshphere
- button smash !!!!!
What imo could be improved :
- indicator to notice possible scrolls (I though I had only 3 creatures at start !)
- very slow progression
- game universe : A god gathering dollars ?! Could be more consistent with "belief points" are whatever would be valuable for a god or for life creation.
- coin sounds : I recognize a great effort there, but it still end to be annoying ^^

Overall good and please, thanks for the game =)

I hate games like this. Why? Because it sucks the life out of you. But I'm stronger! I'm not clicking. Nuh uh...[hours later] YESSS! COINS!

Jokes aside, very nice entry. I like the music because it makes the game very relaxing while you're frenetically clicking.

@mcapraro: thanks!

@Sebastian: is it a shame to confess that it was the intention?

@Lythom: WOW thanks for the feedback.
* the scrolling problem is a recurring feedback. I kinda fix this on a enhanced edition im building.
* slow is good or bad? it`s designed to be a very long game, requiring several hours to get the last characters... :p
* coins or "prays": theming the game was a problem. I had a rule to always go forward. i thought about doing a pray energy, but rapdly i realized that is too abstract. I decided to do the coin then :/
* coin sounds were made in brfx. its difficult to extract a mario coin sound :P
but really really thanks for all comments.

@hbocao: henrique, valeu. elas sao mesmo mais tranquilas. Tinha de ser ne, pois o jogo eh extenso... ;)

@Zerkruemler: thanks man! yep, the interface is subject of constant feedback. I will give it the proper work soon and relaunch the game. :)

THANKS ALL

Nice game with great audio. I like the simple and unique game concept. Would be nice if there were less waiting involved, it took me some time to create the last kind of creature. And I was disappointed that iddqd didn't do anything.

@dudsen: yet. it seems people have love-hate reaction to it. Thanks for playing and having the patience to write a feedback.

@loxo: waiting is kinda part of the design. It of course need some balacing.

Wish there was a way to mute the sound so I can have it running in the background. Other than that, great game! I've recently gotten into idle games so this is right up my street. Totally addicted. Some of the humour was maybe a bit too self-referential for my taste - eg some guy called Bruno (presumably the creator) and girlfriend not liking the game, but that's really minor. Overall great entry!
Bruno Massa
06. Jan 2014 · 08:32 UTC
@denis Chakarov: I did what I could in the 2D space due not being an artist. The saving bug I know... I'm really sorry. I 1ill fix this today, if it counts!

@FrederickKK: thanks. the objective here to to entertain. nice to know you liked it

@steamgirl: the sound, yes... I wrote about this few days after the competition. I will create a mute button. About the jokes, I must agree with you. It was a last minute decision to insert constant jokes, so i could think too much about it.

Not entirely sure how it relates to the theme, but it really is quite addicting!!! I think the choice to put it on android is smart, since this game (with a little bit more polish) could really be the next addictive mobile game. :) Great work!
Bruno Massa
06. Jan 2014 · 23:54 UTC
Zeik/Cake: first of all, I'm a fan of your work. The very first thing that came to my mind about "you only get one" was a UNIverse. Also, the playr does only ONE thing all the time... :P

Currently the game is concurrent to my other project Picubic, so I could not give it a right attention, even during the jam. But thanks a lot for your comments.
