Shapeshifting Goddess by MegaBrutal

[raw]
made by MegaBrutal for LD35 (COMPO)
This is about a Shapeshifting Goddess who is out to find her true form.
Passes the Bechdel test!

HTML5 game, made with Phaser.

The game uses the Ubuntu Monospace font, which can be found here, along with the license details: http://font.ubuntu.com. Note: you don't actually have to download this font, your browser should automatically do it since it is redistributed with the game. Also, if you have Ubuntu, you have this font by default, and this is the default font in terminal windows.

I had a hard time playing this game because when i hit spacebar the whole webpage scrolls down and puts the game out of view :^/

The humor is what brings this game up a notch.
Otherwise, nice work! =)

@monkeybit29: Thanks for your feedback! Theoretically, it should be fixed now. Just be sure to click into the game before playing.
@glaze_96: Thank you! :)

Aren't you supposed to provide source code if you participate in compo?

@edve98: Since it's a HTML5/JavaScript game which is not obfuscated in any way, the source code is readily viewable through the browser. (Through right click, View source or something similar option.) Additionally, I plan to set up a Git repository with GitWeb later – if that happens, the project will show up here: http://git.megabrutal.com/. Note that this is a very busy week at my job, so I don't get much free time per day to work on extra stuff for the game.

This was less of a game, and more of a story. That's not a bad thing, it just felt too linear. no fail objectives, just go forward, read dialogue, and hit space.

I wasn't able to get past one of the guys no matter what form I was in. I like the concept but found it to be kind of boring.

I liked how the goat at the end and guard slid around back to the start and bumped into each other after I flew over the goat as a bird and pushed it. :P

A bit too linear, but still got a smile out of me.

Felt like I was reading a story instead of playing a game. I don't feel like I had any effect on it, since it didn't take much thought on my part.

I liked your games, it was one of the best games I played. And this game is really good. It would be a little better if it had sound. It's a pretty good game still.
