One Torch by ahnt
You have to guide a group of five villagers through a dark cave, the problem is that "you only got one torch" and the darkness is very dangerous. Solve puzzles i this very dark and thrilling game. Best played with headphones!
Click anywhere on the floor and the leader will move there and the others follow. You can click and drag the others and make them wait in the dark, but remember the darkness is lethal!
Avoid monsters lurking in the dark, and overcome obstacles. Spiders always attack the one closest to them, can you use that for your advantage?
This game is a coproduction, participants listed in alphabetical order:
Clifford Bohm (mostly game design)
Arend Hintze (mostly code)
Thomas Leonard (mostly level graphic)
David Phillips (mostly animation and graphic)
Jorden Schossau (mostly sound and music)
Enjoy, cheers Arend
--- We found that some people get stuck in the first level ... walk to the other arch and gather all your people there, a little box will appear at the bottom right click it to proceed to the next level, hurry otherwise the spider will get you! ---

I couldn't get past the first level either, my dudes would step on that button and then cant go into the tunnel.
The lighting and colors are very nice.
One of my favorites entries though so far, and good thing you added camera movement controls for a game like this! :)
I'm not personally a fan of the controls and their responsiveness, but the overall gameplay is interesting and pretty fun.
The audio really makes the mood though.
In the first level I thought that you were supposed to somehow get through to the spot the spider actually comes from, since it appeared to be the main "passageway" and I knew pushing the button unlocked it. I was surprised to find that the exit was right by the button, and that you have to click exit to actually leave.
Well "why have the exit right by the button" I thought to myself. It was just sort of odd I thought because this setup didn't take advantage of any of the gameplay aspects I was just introduced to from the start. Making people wait in corners so that the spider wouldn't see them or something while we snuck around it was the approach I thought was needed.
I think the main problem people like me are having with the games first level is that the exit isn't very identifiable. It's sort of tucked off at the edge and is discreet. Some people may also not be noticing the exit button you need to press to move on.
Overall I really like the visuals and atmosphere, but some of the design decisions made it difficult to understand where exactly the game expects you to go in the beginning.
PS. You get past the spider by baiting him with one of your guys to move the rest across and then come back for him when you can move more quickly. (at least that's how I did it).
Got stuck at level 5, baiting that spider was way too frustrating.
This game doesn't make sense to me but, it definitely looks really cool! I love the lighting!
