Escape from Planet Brobulon by Arcane Noise

made by Arcane Noise for LD28 (JAM)

A pseudo-"sequel" to the entry I did for last December under the account angrybearcrossup ( http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-25/?action=preview&uid=11890 ). This is after Brobulon's taken over the planet Earth and you are a human locked in one of his prisons. You must escape while staying out of sight of the various sentries that patrol the halls. You only have one shot from your ray gun to take out a sentry, and if you miss, then that's it.

WASD/Arrow keys to move. Mouse moves the camera. Left click to fire your gun. Remember, YOU ONLY GET ONE shot.

Got this upon trying to start:

I would enjoy this game more if it was top-down 2D, with controls that feel less sluggish.

Cool stealth mechanic. The one raygun shot feels a little redundant as you can complete it without, and even seems like it discourages the use of stealth play a bit. But overall works well!

Seigeengine, TBSHRichard, Enneract... What version of Windows are you running? Is it 32 or 64 bit?

I've updated the archive for the windows build. Apparently the mono.dll didn't get included in the build. Many apologies for the inconvenience, but thanks for bringing it to my attention.
