(I of course, am one of these victims.)\r\n\r\nIn this pseudo-RPG, the only actions you can perform in combat are unique skills, each reasonably familiar\r\nto RPG fans. Of course, the catch is that You Only Get One of each skill to use per adventure.\r\n\r\nI aim to strike a balance between resource management and entertainment, as each adventure should be reasonably\r\nshort-length and encapsulated, as you strengthen your character with more and more Insane Techniques.\r\n\r\nYou'll earn points to unlock these skills through a push-your-luck type system, where you'll always be gaining points for defeating enemies, but knowing when to return safely and when to brave forward will earn you the maximum reward!\r\n\r\nInsane Techniques is built using FlashPunk and is playable in most web browsers (hopefully!). It's also primarily built out of text and shapes based due to my lack of graphical prowess, but I tried to add at least a little bit of polish to the game. :)\r\n\r\nThere's a lot of ambition left uncompleted, but I hope to have made a reasonable fascimile of a complete game.\r\nLudum Dare 28 was fun!
