Man, that's really fun! I loved the tone of the game, the references and humor are top-notch. Pretty neat way to deliver a tutorial, by the way.

I wonder if the buttons on the floor cause something. I think I will play it more to find out :)

Congratulations!

If you are interested, you can play WolfBit, our entry for this jam, right here:

It's also pixelated and top-down, but with a darker and rather opposite take on mutations.

Really awesome entry! I enjoyed your game; very good way to relieve some stress and test your reflexes.
I'm not too fond of the second form, however. It seems to me that his attacks are way too random and difficult to control. The other two are cool though!
Cheers,

Okay, once I figured out what I was doing I was having a pretty good time. Love the art style and concept, fits the theme really well! Sounds were good too. Only criticism I'd give is that there should be some sort of control description on the first screen, I had no idea what I was doing and had to come back to the description here in order to finally figure out that "X" attacked. Also, what do the red buttons do when you press them (the ones on the floor)?

That was challenging, took me a few tries to finish. It was fun to play and the quotes were nice. I really liked the way you did the tutorial.

Really liked the different play styles with the different characters.
And those pixel-graphics animations are awesome. :)

Awesome job! I was able to get through to the second level, but using the second form to hit those posts behind the grate proved too difficult for me. Sound is good, art is great. Solid entry.

Very much enjoyed this one. The spritework is nice, and the dialogue is hysterical. One thing that's a little annoying for me is that the blade-kinda-guy seems to be a little OP because of how fast he moves. Also, I'm getting some slowdown issues on the web player on Firefox. Not sure if that's intentional, but either way it's a little annoying.

@kuhnerdm thanks for the feedback! When you change the form there is a bullet time (you move faster, it's like a bust because you are almost moving at the same speed but enemies are slower)

Brilliant. Super funny.

Nice art, funny idea and great theme! The sounds were nice, too but I didn't vote you for audio because the music wasn't made by you.

Juegazo! Pixel art que te cagas, citas a grandes como el Capitán Threepwood, drogas, bien equilibrado y encima divertido. Lo tiene todo, hay que hacer más niveles!

Y gracias por comentar en el mío compañeros ;)

The best game I've seen so far. It's a global 5/5 !
I'm fond of pixel art, but this one disappointed me somehow I dunno why honestly ...
Music totally fits, theme totally fits !
Thank you for escape, I immensely appreciate. T_T
What to say about gameplay ... smashing guards into pieces in wolverine-like form is probably the funniest thing i've played ever. :D

Fantastic entry. It was a little difficult to start off with, but I got the hang of it - and I like that the constant transformations keep the gameplay from getting repetitive, even though the game itself is very simple. The art and sound are both very well done, and I have to say that I really enjoyed the dialogue/references. very funny stuff (along with the concept itself)!

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

Fun and satisfying gameplay, and the premise and dialogue are very funny as well. I didn't really get the "bullet time" thing until I read the comments, and it seems like a lot of people were in the same boat, so maybe that was ill-advised. But, I had a blast anyway!

I love the art/music, the concept, and the funny dialog from the player/guards. It's seriously hard though, I can't go very long without getting shot to ribbons. Nice work
