Welcome to Space Balls, a Space Invaders/Breakout mashup!

Basic Controls:
Left Arrow Key or A - Move the paddle left
Right Arrow Key or D - Move the paddle right

The evil blocks of the Giradai System are trying to invade the planet!! Luckily (or unluckily) for you, a cadet of the Paddle-Ball Academy of Space Artillery Defense Emergency National Arms (or P.A.S.A.D.E.N.A), the blocks have to camouflage themselves in order to breakthrough our atmosphere, sacrificing movement for stealth. It's only when a special red "transform" block is destroyed when they take up arms and begin an assault! When their attack begins, their transform blocks can't move with them, and hitting the now blue "reform" block reverts them to their original, inert state.

Your objective is to stop as many of the overwhelming forces as you can before you yourself are finally defeated by one of their laser bursts. Good luck, Cadet!

Objective
Use your ball and paddle to hit the blocks to score points. When you hit the red, light transform block, the blocks start shooting lasers at you that will kill you in 1 hit. Their advance down to you will also create new blocks. Hit a blue reform block to get them to stop attacking, and continue your assault. Try to get the highest score you can!

In the future, package a game as just a self-contained executable folder. Having to install the game was really annoying and is probably why you don't have more ratings. Also the "Web" link is supposed to go to a website version, not a web-based download for a windows version.

As for the game, it was pretty cool, but a bit simplistic. It was also too difficult to avoid hitting the red blocks and basically impossible to avoid the bullets once you had hit the red block. But with more polish and game design work you could make something really cool. Keep making games and you'll go far!

You should package it as a standalone, installers can get pretty much annoying and not everybody is willing to install games, ok? ;)

The game's a quite challenging take on Breakout/Arkanoid, but needs polish, specially because of the lasers and red blocks, since you can't handle the direction of the ball besides the bounce on the paddle.

The audio also starts layering after you die and start a new game, it can get quite annoying if people keep dying and restarting, so I advise you to do that.

If you polish the idea enough, it has the possibility to become a quite interesting game! :)

Cheers!
