The 3 Rules of 2-Color Shapeshiftin' in a Microworld on a Flickering Torus by theOnlyGoodDrcz
A small puzzle in the spirit of sokoban: remove all squares, triangles and discs from each level. Good luck.
Controls: arrows/WSAD + h/f1 for help and r for restart (a suicide).
Warning: it flickers!
Advice: use headphones.
made with raw js, pencil, marker, korg volca and an improvised contact microphone.
Update 27Apr:
If you really cannot stand the flickering, yet would like to solve these 10 puzzles, you can try here http://drcz.github.io/dercz9000/js-gfx-test/ (it also lacks the sounds and has smaller viewport -- no magic! because http://ludumdare.com/compo/2016/04/26/3-rules-of-2-color-shapeshifting-in-a-microworld-on-a-non-flikering-torus-on-arduino-console/).

I really loved the unique visuals, they added a ton of personality and uniqueness to the game, at first, but after about 5 minutes I had to stop.
Good job!
I didn't quite understand the rules for when you could shift, and when you could not - is it just that you can't tag-back without the help of the monster thing?
Played it on Safari and didn't have sound. Good work!!
I consider writing "The 3 Rules of 2-Color Shapeshiftin' in a Microworld on a Non-Flickering Torus" some day (should take about 48h :)).
@TLansdale -- the unshift machine is now sad because you thought it's a monster! to see the rules just press F1 or h :)
It's hard to play in the first time (because the level repeated three times in the screen is confusing), but after 2 or 3 levels I can play better and I enjoyed more to play it.
Very great job.
oops!
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
I only wish that it didn't make me start over when I lost all my lives - a game over is no fun. Great job
(A bit hard on the eyes. Maybe that could be improved by reducing the contrast in the background.)
