Bounded by Gravity by erb

[raw]
made by erb for LD35 (JAM)
An exercise in physics.

Try to jump your way to the last planet, where a mystical box awaits.

Works on Windows, OS X and Linux.

We also have it working in HTML5 / WebGL but planet details are removed to increase performance (this is a lie, this was never deployed and for this reason the WebGL isn't recommended). But the mystical box is still there for you to discover.

WebGL not recommended since it is crawling slow, sorry for not fixing the performance issue.

Releases should be working now! Including the HTML5 WebGL player!

Unfortunately ran really choppy on my computer, cool idea though.

The concept seems really interesting, but it runs really slow.

framerate gets really choppy really quickly! cool concept though

Cool with planetary gravity, but the framerate is really really low, in the webgl version. Try having shorter draw distance on the objects on the planet surface (the objects on the neighbouring planet doesn't have to be drawn when you're not on it for instance, since they are so small).
Nice music and atmosphere. :)

Couldn't play this, so didn't rate it.

The mouse is not locked to the screen, meaning that it will eventually hover out of the game window. After that, it no longer gives input to the game. This makes it impossible to really look around.

That was a cool experience!

Neat physics simulation. The floating around felt pretty good. But my character was turned 180 degrees every time I got close to a planet. Is that intentional? It was confusing.

I liked the overrall idea of the game as well as the physics simulation, however the mouse was really stuttery for some reason & after a while the framerate gets really low.

Seems interesting, but was way too choppy to fully get into. Was playing the windows build, tried web build as well
